THE ROLE
To actively manage and develop the territory for profitable growth for our client within the Fire Safety arena. Developing the business through sales of Fire Safety Equipment, Risk Assessments and Health and Safety Training.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Develop and execute plans for each customer to secure existing business and generate growth for our client and their customers
§ Liaise with our clients’ customers’ sales and marketing functions to identify future product needs and current market needs
§ Assist the customers of our client in designing and specifying emergency lighting systems
§ Co-ordinate activity between relevant customer and our clients departments
§ Develop and maintain a market awareness of their key customer markets
§ Provide commercial support to assist in their customer’s market competitiveness
§ Identify new prospective clients and in conjunction with our clients’ management, negotiate distribution agreements
§ Collect market intelligence on competitor products, pricing and strategy
§ Provide regular reports on customer performance and activity
NETWORKS AND CONTACTS
Internal
§ Sales Office – Support and advise sales office to deliver excellent customer service and provide quarterly forecasting plans
§ Marketing Department – Provide feedback on competitor and market intelligence, develop new product proposals to support future customer product needs
External
§ Customers – Maintain and develop relationships with our clients’ product, commercial and business managers to provide product and commercial support.

§ Achievement of revenue and margin plans

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Work Experience Required
§ Minimum 2 years sales experience
§ Business to business within The Fire Safety Industry
Behavioural Competencies Required
§ Must be able to work within a small team environment, have a “can do” attitude and flexible approach. |
